Hello girls! On Sunday, 14th August 2011 (that's a day after our Installation!), Rotary Club of Bandar Sunway is holding their annual Interact Quiz Competition. We have been cordially invited to participate!
The prizes include scholarships worth RM175,000 for higher education at SUNWAY UNIVERSITY for the members of the winning teams. There are also many spot and lucky draw prizes for the teams during the preliminary and final rounds!
ICSA can send as many teams as we wish (Some clubs have sent in TEN teams!). If you are interested to participate, please contact me at ASAP! I will be photocopying the forms for you. :)
EVENT DETAILS
-14th August 2011 // 0830hrs
-MULTIPURPOSE HALL, SUNWAY UNIVERSITY
-Light refreshments will be served at about 1000hrs.
-The sponsor for this event is none other than Sunway University.
The quiz will be on general knowledge covering the following topics:
-Geography
-History
-Science
-Films
-Music
-Sport
I'm sure you're eager to know about the prizes! CHAMPIONS - Challenge Trophy, Winners Plaques and three FULL scholarships (tuition fees waiver) to any Diploma programme at Sunway University. Estimated maximum worth of prizes for champions is RM84,000!
There will also be prizes for FIRST RUNNER-UP, SECOND RUNNER-UP, 4TH PLACING, 5TH PLACING AND 6TH PLACING! So what are you waiting for?!
Of course, there are some Eligibility & Rules we are required to obey.
Here are some of them :
-Each team will comprise of three participants from the same Interact Club. Any number of teams can participate from each Interact Club, however only two teams are eligible to feature in the finals. Where there is more than one team from a particular Interact Club, teams should be given suitable names, such as "Team Pintar", followed by the name of the club.
-The entry fee is RM30.00 per team. All participants should carry valid identification on the day of the quiz.
Based on the forms that I have, there are 14 more points in the Eligibility & Rules.
If you are seriously interested to participate, PLEASE contact me as soon as possible! I will inform you more about this competition then. :)
If you're interested, get your forms from me TOMORROW (010811) from 4SA. Please pass up your form to me LATEST by TUESDAY (020811).
