*Polaroid duty; I know we initially planned for the backdrop in France etc but unfortunately we had very little time to actually carry it out. Don't be there too early bcs Rtn Pua said girls shouldn't be there when the lights aren't out yet especially since it's a boys school.
Keng Jean will be taking attendance BY 0730HOURS. From 0700hrs - 0730hrs. Alright? She will also be taking attendance at 1530HOURS. When the carnival ends.

ICCPJ SUPERCAMP 2011
28th May 2011 - 31st May 2011
Please submit your permission forms along with total payment of RM265.00 to Int. Ghythri (5SC) by FRIDAY 13th May 2011. The sooner, the better, as we need a teacher and the headmistress' signatures. Those whose names have been put up on the board but will not be able to attend, do inform Int. Ghythri as soon as possible so other Interactors who have signed up but initially did not get the chance to go will be able to attend.
Click here for the link to the ICCPJ Supercamp 2011 blog. You can download your forms there!
On behalf of the BODs, I would like to say we're very sorry for confusing you guys about the date for the Probie Seminar.
It is not, I repeat it is NOT tomorrow (26/2), but it has been postponed to around the March holidays. We will inform you of the exact time, date and venue when we ourselves know it.
We're really sorry times infinity!
Have a great weekend and good luck on your March tests!
P/S:
The Probie Seminar is compulsory for the current probationers, and the second intake Interactors who have been installed last year for the year 2010/2011.
Interactors who are in charge of projects under your respective avenues, please be reminded that you have to get your projects drafted up by the immediate meeting after March test. Tentatively, it should be on the 7th of March. For any inquiries about your projects, don't be afraid to approach your respective BOD. Communication is key here :-)
As I have mentioned in an earlier post, planning & prep for the 12th annual ICCPJ Charity Concert are underway and the auditions for the competition commenced today from 10.00 am - 5.00 pm. Congratulations to the Sri Amanians who made the cut, we're proud of you!
Do check the ICC Concert 2011 blog regularly for updates.
I'm really, really very sorry for the lack of updates, guys. And welcome to the new Interact probationers! You have made a wise choice by choosing Interact to join this year :-)
In the past few meetings, we have discussed a few things, among which are that this year there will be a new system, in which Interactors will be paired off by the Board Of Directors and will be sorted out into the 4 different avenues; Finance, Community Service, Club Service and International Understanding (kind of like when wizards and witches get sorted out into different houses in Harry Potter :-P). These pairs have been given the projects under their respective avenue and will have to plan the said projects together, but they will be guided by the respective Board Of Director. The list is on the Interact Club board (if you still don't know where it is, it's near the 2 pay phones near the Koperasi).
A reminder to current Interactors & probationers as well: please bring a notebook & pen with you at all times during meetings. We don't like explaining things many times over during meetings and having people come up to us a few days later to ask about something we have mentioned during said meetings. Also a reminder from our Club Service Director, Int. Thabeena, please wear your Interact badges and for the probies, please wear your probie badge. The probie badge basically looks a little bit like this:
That is basically what it should look like. But bear in mind, it should only be the ICSA colours: blue, silver & black. Be creative! Use glitter! Project points will be awarded for creativityyyyy! :-) And don't forget to wear this badge AT ALL TIMES. Even when there isn't any Interact meeting. Ah, I should also add that the adjective that you choose should describe what you are in one word. Again, be creative! (But don't use words like sexy, hot, etc. That would just be awkward for everyone...)
And as you all may know, the Interact Coordinating Committee (ICC) of 2011 has already begun planning & preparations for our annual ICC Concert! You may find out more on this event by clicking here.
If you've got talent and are interested to perform for ICC Concert, don't be afraid to approach any of the Board Of Directors, and we shall steer you to the right path :-)
Aaaand finally, mark your calendars, Interactors, as there will be an IU Dance Workshop on the 28th of January 2011 in the school hall, from 2.30 - 4.30 pm. But don't forget that the 1st commandment states that thou shall be punctual, so coming a little earlier won't hurt! For the current Interactors, please wear your Interact shirt and school track pants, and for those who don't have it, you may wear the school shirt and school track pants. Please abide by the school rules, yeah, we are still in school, so no wearing yoga pants or of the sort ok!
So The Blink Carnival commenced today, and the weather was so lovely today, such a perfect day for a carnival! If any of you unfortunately missed it, here are some pictures to show you what you guys missed out on. The pictures are pretty self-explanatory :-)
There are a few issues I would like to address in this post:
For those of you who attended meeting earlier today, you guys know all about our preparations for the Blink Carnival this upcoming Saturday, but for those of you who didn't attend (or didn't pay attention, cough cough), I've prepared a table for your convenience :-)
And for those of you who are part of the Organizing Committee of the ICSA Christmas Party, there will be a meeting held on Monday (22/11)from 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm in McDonalds Seksyen 14.
Reminder to all Interactors: You have to sell 5 Blink Carnival coupons, and hand over the money to Int. Sarah D by Friday.
You also have to bring RM 13.50 for your Blink Carnival t-shirts and pay it up to Int. Aleeza.
Reminder to those attending the Interact District Conference, you have to pay an additional RM 30 for your transportation/insurance by Friday as well.
And a gentle reminder to all of you: please dress appropriately when you are staying back for the Blink Carnival preparations. No shorts allowed! 3 quarter pants are acceptable. Don't wear japanese slippers. Wear shoes, preferably sandals. Feel free to wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be on your feet the whole day.
We're 5 days away form the ICCPJ Blink Carnival. Are you as excited as we are? :-D
How are you post-examination people doing? For those of you who don't know, there is an ICCPJ event coming up. No, not ICC Concert, but the ICCPJ Carnival.
Details are as follows:
Date: 20th November 2010 Time: 9am - 3pm Venue: SMK(P) Sri Aman Theme: The Blink; With hope, nothing is impossible.
There will be food, drinks, games, performances and fun fun fun! This carnival aims to raise RM10,000 for future use of the ICCPJ and it's future activities which will benefit the community.
For more details, do visit the official ICCPJ Carnival 2010 blog here. Come and support us!
Post-script: It is compulsary for all ICSA Interactors to attend this carnival. No exceptions!
